Ancient things are infinitely interesting. They are always taunting our intellect with their inexhaustible uncertainties, and since time travel is out of the question for most of us, we have to find a way to transcend and creatively cope with these uncertainties. I do this by rearranging atoms around the wispy tendrils of my imagination. Or at least that’s what I did at National Geographic’s Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit.
National Geographic did a good job of creating a space to observe the ancient warriors. I’m amazed we can fit so much history, so much distance into such a small space.
Amazing.
If you’re in/around DC, check out the National Geographic Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit. It’s much more affordable than going to China, though not quite as inexpensive as visiting Wikipedia.

I miss art. There’s not much of it around here. No market for it. I love this exhibit. I look at it online all the time. I just wish I could see it in person.

But you’ve got a few more months to swing by DC and visit this exhibit. Or you could always just go to China!
I've seen many that were able to do the preview and these images are some of the best. Very interesting to see images of the labors working for the soldiers.
