A Suit And A Tie, Nope

It’s been four years!

Four years since I stopped commuting to the Farragut North Metro stop during rush hour to walk to my downtown DC job. I left that job to travel, and upon returning, I eventually scored a job in Northern Virginia. I did not feel any guilt about abandoning Farragut North as a part of my daily commute.

None. In fact, I completely forgot about the tedium, which is easy to do if you rarely use the Farragut North Metro stop, or never use it – EVER – during rush hour.

Wednesday, however, for the first time in four years, I returned during rush hour. It still sucks. And it might even be a little bit worse than I remember.

Exiting the station, nostalgia bumped my neurons, and my resolve to never wear a [F]ucking suit and tie – daily, for work – strengthened.
